Summer Rec League Lessons Program

Starts week of June 3, registration runs from March 22 through May 17.
Open to all skill levels, players must currently be in 3rd grade or older.
Players may participate in the lessons program without playing in the rec league.
Cost is $80 if playing in the rec league or $90 if not. All players need to supply their own clubs, balls, tees, and glove. DYA golf shirt and hat are not required for the lessons program.
Summer Advanced League
This program is for experienced golfers that are mature enough to have full independence on the course, ideally for those in 6th grade or higher. Participants are trying to improve their game and potentially make a school team. Beginners or players that have difficulty regularly shooting under 50 for 9 holes should consider the DYA summer rec league instead.
Pace of play will be enforced and players are expected to pick up if they are at par, place on the green, and then putt out. While playing on the course players will be supervised on safety and pace of play but there will be no on-course instruction.
Each weekly session will begin with instruction at the range rotating between driver/irons, chipping and putting, followed by playing 9 holes on the course. Players are expected to play independently within their group and finish 9 holes within 2 hours.
This is a 6 week program meeting once per week on either Monday or Wednesday, starts the week of June 3, and takes place at the Safari Golf course. Due to course conflicts, each group will miss one day to be made up the week of July 15. The program was shortened from 8 to 6 weeks to allow for weather make-up dates.
Monday group dates: June 3, 17, 24, July 1, 8, 15
Wednesday group dates: June 5, 12, 19, 26, July 10, 17
Program cost is $220, is capped at 36 players, and registration runs from 3/22/19 through 5/17/19. Instruction provided by PGA Professionals and a varsity coach of the Dublin Jerome high school boys team.
